I have joy, passion, and success working with minority, biracial, and 1st generation/immigrants that experience challenges adjusting to blended families and new/blended cultures. I help my clients identify reasonable solutions to current challenges and we collaborate to create coping skills that build resilience and allow you to thrive. My clients appreciate the gentle, warm, and supportive work we do together. We develop a connection based on trust and mutual understanding that empowers change.
I have had positive experiences working with adults, adolescents, couples, and children on issues related to identity, low self-esteem, anxiety, depression, trauma, and relational struggles. Clients find my style to be respectful, safe, collaborative, non-judgmental, supportive, and warm. They enjoy being seen, heard, and challenged to deepen self-awareness and overcome sadness, low self-esteem, shame, guilt, and anxiety. It is incredibly hard to figure out your identity alone. I can help to bridge the gap between where you are currently and where you would like to be in your life.
I'm currently taking clients virtually and in person at our Santa Monica office. We have special insurance billing that is Out-of-Network but offers many benefits of being in-network. We will check on your coverage and file claims for your reimbursement so you don't have to! Please feel free to reach out via email or phone. I am providing a free 15 min phone consultation and am happy to answer all your questions as you search for a therapist who is a good fit for you. Looking forward to connecting with you!
