KRISTINA MAZIC

Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist, #49314

Clinical Supervisor

In my 14 years of experience, my clients appreciate the authentic trusting relationship we build together.  Together we foster a safe and non judgmental environment.  In our safe environment, we go through the journey of gaining self understanding, self reliance and instill hope to achieve goals, dreams and wisdom. All of this leads to a more fulfilling life. Clients enjoy working with me to find relief from daily stressors, difficult family dynamics, relationship issues, trauma, grief and loss, and various life transitions. I’ve had success working with a variety of clients; adults of any age, adolescents, families, and children.

Clients say that my ability to adjust to their needs and adapt my methods creates a positive experience leading to immense growth. I have success with clients utilizing an eclectic array of treatment styles from, a client centered approach, strength based, psychodynamic, trauma informed, family systems, cognitive behavioral and various attachment styles.

I hold diversity very close to my heart. I was born and raised in California, with a family background of Serbian heritage.  Child of Immigrants.  My life experience instills a non-judgmental and safe place where clients can open themselves up to vulnerabilities and challenges.  I’m passionate about working with the Serbian population.  The ability to provide healing in a native language while living in American culture, is a gift that allows me to help cultures that do not support therapy.  Melding American culture with the Serbian culture has greatly enhanced my ability to connect with clients of various religious and cultural backgrounds.
