I am passionate about joining clients on their journeys to increase their overall well-being. I enjoy working with children (8+), pre-teens, teens, college students, and emerging adults. During these phases of life, transition is constant. Many clients I see begin therapy due to lasting effects of trauma, overwhelming feelings, difficulty adjusting to new circumstances, or disruptive behaviors that interrupt their daily lives.  In addition to supporting healing from traumatic experiences, I help clients identify practical solutions to address daily challenges, build positive communication skills, set needed boundaries, and build strong family relationships/friendships through tailored sessions based on the unique needs of each person.

 

I am intentional about providing a non-judgmental/supportive environment to assist clients with building insight into their strengths as well as areas of their lives where they would like to make changes.  When working with young children, I focus on helping parents and children build a strong bond through the use of specific positive skill training and practices that makes daily life easier. To support young women who have been through a sexual assault, I utilize Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) as a framework for emotional healing

 

I currently have openings available for new clients. I offer virtual and in-person sessions at our Santa Monica office. While our practice is Out-of-Network with insurance, we do offer a  unique concierge billing service in which we will file all claims for you so you don’t have to!
