MELISSA MORALES

CA Registered Associate Marriage & Family Therapist #132877

Supervised by Amber Keating LCSW #22838

Life transitions can be hard, and we are often affected by intergenerational conflicts and acculturation differences. I am passionate about creating a safe and warm environment where individuals and couples can be their authentic selves and explore how their experiences have shaped their lives. As a first-generation Mexican-American, I understand the need to support families with effective communication skills in order to build healthy relationships and improve family dynamics. While providing a nonjudgmental and culturally humble environment, I align myself with my clients in exploring their challenges from the framework of each individual's unique lived experience. Through support, empowerment, and the development of greater insight, meaningful change is possible.

I utilize a collaborative approach and a systems perspective to gain a deeper understanding of my clients. I enjoy supporting clients in understanding their needs, establishing healthy boundaries, and exploring their diverse identities with special focus on multicultural and intergenerational issues, anxiety, stress, and life transitions.
