Collaboration is the key to my therapeutic style. My clients value the strong relationship we create together and appreciate feeling supported with compassion and kindness. My calm demeanor promotes a healthy therapeutic relationship where clients feel safe processing difficult issues. I incorporate several approaches to therapy including; psychodynamic, existential, family systems, meaning-centered therapy, and cognitive behavioral therapy, all while coming from a trauma-informed care perspective.
With a strong emphasis on cultural diversity, I have success working with clients ranging from pre-teen to the aging population. I especially enjoy assisting clients through difficult life transitions such as; marriage, birth, aging, loss, illness, and death. My clients report feeling safe and contained in their most vulnerable moments in their work with me. In addition to working with individual clients, I also enjoy working with groups and families.
