Therapist Spotlight: Kristina Mazic, LMFT and Clinical Supervisor
As long as I can remember, there has always been an innate desire to help others, to instill hope, to provide a sense of support; that one is not alone in traversing through life's various challenges. Whether its dealing with a traumatic experience, to traversing through many life transitions or managing symptoms of depression and anxiety for example; that we do have an inner aspect of ourselves driving us to move forward in life, but it can feel buried underneath a heavy rubble. Within my work with clients, I want to help tap into that area of themselves that they may not spend a great deal of time supporting, reinforcing, acknowledging; that inner strength, inner resolve, the positive attributes that are within one's reach, awaiting to be brought into the forefront. It is important to be able to address the immediate challenges, struggles, needs, but of equal importance to identify/acknowledge our positive aspects/attributes we have within. By providing a safe, non judgmental space; building a positive working collaborative relationship and providing unconditional positive regard; that my clients from all walks of life are able to achieve the ability to feel a little lighter, to feel more hopeful, to believe in their own ability in traversing through this world; building positive relationships and achieving their own life path goals.
