Concrete Wall
Identity can be a tricky thing. Who am I when others aren’t around? What parts of myself were assigned to me and which do I truly resonate with? And finally, how do I fit in relation to others? Whoever you are now and whoever you decide to become, it’s okay. I look forward to learning more about that person with you.

Self discovery is an ongoing journey that happens no matter where we are in life, but it’s not always one we consciously get to choose. I enjoy and have success helping clients explore their needs, wants, and identities. Together, we question what to keep and what to change. My approach is a combination of trauma-informed and evidence-based therapies (i.e CPT, DBT, ERP). My therapeutic style and personality is very transparent, honest, humorous, and open-minded. I have a flexible structure in session that allows for us to target whatever you need at the moment—whether it’s practical solutions or more gradual exploration.

My clients appreciate that I am someone with lived experience and clinical training in the issues I work with. I know firsthand how wonderful and rewarding it is–and, at times, how painful and challenging these circumstances can be. I love working with individuals from complicated, multigenerational families. I relate to those in interfaith and interracial relationships. With me, clients have discovered how to navigate difficult conversations and boundaries. Acceptance requires understanding. Change requires safety, security, and support.
If you’re reading this, you’ve already done a lot more to help yourself than you think. I want to take a moment to appreciate that. None of this is easy. Wanting things to change is very different from accepting or choosing to do something about it. You're doing great. And you're not going to be doing it alone. Let's talk.
