Monisha Brewer

California Associate Marriage & Family Therapist #144337

Supervised by Andrea Najemy, LMFT #90985

I derive immense joy from guiding individuals, families, and couples through life's challenges. My journey began in coaching and counseling roles, including two decades of coaching weight management and helping individuals foster healthy relationships with food. Additionally, I have spent over 25 years managing and guiding talent in the entertainment industry. From this range of experience and training, I offer a unique perspective, a profound understanding of human behavior, and a dedication to supporting others in overcoming obstacles.

I believe in tailoring therapy to each client's unique needs. Specializing in motivation, confidence, and relationship issues, I utilize diverse therapeutic modalities such as CBT, Solution-Focused, and Narrative Therapy. Whether challenging negative thought patterns, exploring strengths, rewriting personal narratives, or addressing conflict cycles, I provide compassionate guidance and practical solutions. I especially love witnessing couples and families reconnect and rebuild what they thought may be permanently lost.

In sessions, I prioritize active listening and genuine engagement, fostering a supportive environment where clients feel uplifted. While I infuse discussions with warmth, I ensure productivity and enjoyment. Approachability and ease of communication are central to my practice, aiming to cultivate meaningful connections grounded in trust and respect.
I take great pleasure in assisting individuals from diverse racial and ethnic backgrounds. Beyond being a therapist, I am a committed partner on your journey to growth and self-discovery. Together, we'll navigate challenges, embrace strengths, and strive for a fulfilling life.
