As a lawyer-turned-therapist, I know the power of a good question. With therapeutic curiosity and attunement, I ask questions that help clients deepen their personal insight and guide them to consider different choices. From my personal experience as an attorney, I understand the challenges of balancing a demanding career with personal relationships and self-care. I am practical in my approach and enjoy the process of helping clients find more joy and wellness, in ways that are tailored to their lives and goals.

While cognitive behavioral therapy provides my sessions structure, I often pull from other types of therapy to blend interventions that resonate with each of my clients. I work with clients to create and assign homework aimed at growth between sessions. I especially enjoy working with anxiety, panic attacks, and stress. My clients share that I have been tremendously supportive in helping them work through these challenges, in addition to moving through grief and loss. Whether it be the loss of a loved one, a career, or way of life, I can be a strong partner in those difficult moments.

During sessions, clients enjoy my use of humor to feel comfortable and heard. This approach often can make difficult situations more accessible. By staying focused on big picture goals in treatment and collaborating throughout, my clients share that they can see their progress. I balance accountability with support in a warm and casual way that lays the foundation for meaningful change. Clients have shared that they have left sessions feeling “hopeful” and “empowered” or even “ready for positive change.”

I work with teens and adults in both English and Spanish.
