I am a compassionate and culturally sensitive therapist dedicated to supporting adults, particularly those of first or second-generation Asian descent, as well as individuals navigating mixed ethnicity and identity issues. With a warm and empathetic approach, I support and guide my clients through the journey of self-exploration, self-awareness, and healing. My clients enjoy being seen, heard, and challenged to deepen self-awareness and overcome sadness, low self-esteem, shame, guilt, and worry. It is hard to figure out who you are alone. I can help to bridge the gap between who you are now and who you would like to be in your life.

In addition to my work with adults, I specialize in supporting children aged 12 and under who may be experiencing emotional or behavioral challenges. I collaborate closely with parents providing parenting strategies that address issues such as adjustment difficulties, ADHD, anxiety, depression, and trauma.

As a bilingual therapist fluent in both English and Japanese, I offer a safe and affirming space for clients to explore their unique cultural backgrounds, challenges, and aspirations. I understand the complexities of identity formation and the impact of intergenerational experiences on personal growth and success.

Whether you're seeking support for personal growth, relationship issues, or family dynamics, I am here to help you navigate your life challenges. I'm currently taking clients virtually and in person at our Santa Monica office. Please feel free to reach out via email or phone. I am providing a free 15-minute phone consultation and am happy to answer all your questions as you search for a therapist who is a good fit for you. I am looking forward to connecting with you!
