Summer enjoys working with children to develop their personal strengths, sense of identity, emotional literacy, social agility, and creative expression. Children find Summer warm, funny, and easy going. She believes art therapy can be helpful for everyone. Art therapy combines art making with traditional talk therapy and has been proven effective for a range of diagnoses. Art making can be meditative, cathartic, and healing, and it helps to foster insight and verbal discussion. No art skills or previous art experience is needed. Summer is under the supervision of Tracy Bevington, LMFT #53455 and Beth Rosenblatt, LMFT-ATR.
