How Do You Give Thanks?

Thanksgiving is a time of gratitude and family for many. It is a time for saying thanks. During this holiday, families come together to show appreciation and support. How do you show thanks? Here are some ideas on ways to give back and show love for others.

  1. Thank someone for just being themselves.

  2. Donate to charity.

  3. Write someone you know a note of appreciation.

  4. Visit a hospital.

  5. Give a loved one a hug that is 5 seconds longer than usual.

  6. Volunteer at an animal shelter.

  7. Volunteer at a senior center.

  8. Catch someone doing something they usually do, but make an extra point of thanking them this time around.

  9. Plant a tree.

  10. If you know of someone who will be alone for Thanksgiving, invite them to your gathering.

  11. Make a centerpiece for your Thanksgiving dinner table for others to enjoy.

  12. Start a gratitude journal.

  13. Offer to do the dishes!
