Therapy with Alice Kuhns, AMFT

I enjoy working with clients of all ages, but specifically teens and young adults experiencing life transitions. Whether we are exploring relationship patterns, coping strategies, identity, self-worth, and so forth, my number one priority is ensuring that you feel safe, supported, and validated. It is my belief that our success is driven by the quality of relationship we create, and that therapy should be collaborative. You get to decide how our time is spent, and together we can explore how to move forward for you to gain the most.

Previous clients have shared that they appreciate my warmth and acceptance, allowing for us to build a trusting and secure relationship. I mainly pull from Person-Centered Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Attachment Theory, and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy. Putting aside the therapist lingo, my role at the end of the day is to gently guide you, and be with you, throughout your process.
